Jonathan Cheng has over 12 years of experience in the pension field with prior experience as a senior actuarial analyst for Watson and Wyatt. He has performed annual pension and post-retirement medical valuations for a variety of clients, including eleven Fortune 500 companies that cover more than 20,000 participants in each Defined Benefit Plan. Other actuarial skills and knowledge include calculating plan liabilities, annual accounting expenses, cash contributions, funded status and PBGC premiums necessary for pension, retiree healthcare, and retiree life insurance benefits. Throughout Jonathan's career he has completed various special projects as required by his clients, including merger and acquisition, union negotiation analysis, executive retirement plan design, and government regulations compliance plan design.
